The Young Aviation Workshop

The Young Aviation Workshop is meant to teach the fundamentals of aerospace engineering in a fun-filled interactive way. Our practical activities could become the first stepping stone to starting a career in piloting, engineering, air traffic control, etc. Through our workshop, the children will understand the role of powerful air, drag, and pressure to get into the world of aerospace. We believe that children are born inventors, they love exploration, experimentation, and the creation of flying objects from plane launchers to paper rockets.

We have divided the workshop into 12 classes to teach various engineering concepts that help children to receive hands-on experience with aerospace engineering projects. These fun activities not only create interest to have aerospace engineering as a career option but also teaches them a lot of scientific and technical concepts.

Avidator follows the STEAM education approach in its interactive ‘Young Aviation Workshop’ to provide a comprehensive learning experience with real-world applications and practical hands-on training. Our focus on STEAM education helps children to have curiosity about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Together these subjects create a foundation stone for a career in aerospace engineering.

Learning Style

Avidator teaches new concepts with the experiential learning approach to provide a more realistic and hands-on experience of the fundamentals of aerospace engineering. Important concepts like aerodynamics, thrust, and lift are taught in the most interactive manner possible. Each class provides hands-on projects assisted by our trained instructors and home takeaways for further learning.

Expected Learning Outcomes from the Workshop

Each project-based activity is meant to provide a holistic understanding of how aircraft work. The hands-on mode of learning will encourage children to appreciate the engineering and fully understand the fundamental aerodynamic concepts for flying an aircraft. Our fun and interactive learning approach will help the students to also work on;

Develop better coordination skills

Curiosity for aviation and science

Active listening skills

Collaboration skills

Improve communication skills

A sense of responsibility

Adaptability to situations

Fine-motor skills

Foundation of analytical and problem-solving skills
